The Club  |
IRRGARTEN (HO Swiss) This layout is also in full operation and is frequently the main source of entertainment toward the last hour of club nights. We encourage operation of this complex layout as it provides an interesting spectacle of moving trains when in full operation. The spectators, while waiting their turn at the controls, will take delight in “quietly reminding” the on duty operators that they are not maintaining a full service or have made a mistake such as running ‘wrong line' into the passing loops. It is, however, all in good fun, as they must run the gauntlet when their operating turn comes around. We hope to have this model included with the layouts to be exhibited at the Cathcart Model Railway Show this year (29 and 30 October 2005).
